Eastwood Fun Fest at Eldon Road Playing Fields

Eastwood Village has a very diverse community, whilst there are downsides to this, Fun Fest is about the positive side, Fun Fest is about celebrating the diversity of area. Fun Fest allows everyone to get together for a day to enjoy activities the many wouldn't normal do and integrate with the wider community Eastwood or beyond. Although, it's smaller than usual, Fun Fest is this year celebrating it's 10th anniversary having first started in 2005.

What is happening on the day?
Event will be opened by the Deputy Council Leader, Gordon Watson at 12.15pm
There will be performances from:
•    Nic Harding
•    Stevie More
•    Cole Bradshaw
•    Steph Little
•    Contraband
•    and more
Ray Hearne will be the compare for the event with local individuals DJing between the acts. 
With the following activities:
•    Kite Making Workshop
•    Tai Chi Demonstration
•    Bouncy Castle & other children's Rides
•    Face Painting
•    Old-School games such as Egg & Spoon Race, Sack Race etc
 And the following Groups / Organisation will be exhibiting:
•    RotherFed
•    Eastwood Village Community Association
•    Voluntary Action Rotherham
•    Chevin Housing
•    Clifton Learning Partnership
•    Wah Hong Community Group
•    Pollywiggle's Day Nursery
Also will be:
The Community Cafe, operated by Clifton Learning Partnership, located in Eastwood Village Community Centre will be open throughout the day offering a wide variety of vegetarian food along with drinks.
There will also be a Burger Bar present for those who want something other than the vegetarian options.
