Court car park could become source of Rotherham Council cash

People who park on the former magistrates court site in Rotherham could soon have to pay.

It has been out of formal use since the buildings just off Main Street were demolished around two years ago - but now the Council want to convert it into a pay and display car park.

They have submitted a planning application including spaces for 50 vehicles - and are hoping to make it part of the Forge Island redevelopment.
