Man Charged Following Rotherham Stabbing

An Eastwood mans been charged after a 36 year old suffered a stab wound to the neck.

44 year old Nicholas Boyle, of St Leonards Lane has been charged with section 18 assault and remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Crown Court at a later date.

At around 7.40pm on Wednesday 9 May, emergency services were called to Cranworth Road, Rotherham, where a man was found injured.

It is believed he was involved in an incident on Sumner Road, shortly before, resulting in him suffering a single stab wound.

The 36 year old who was hurt has now left hospital.
