Rotherham Farmers Call For More To Be Done To Tackle Rural Crime

A farmer believes more needs to be done to tackle rural crime across Rotherham.

Russell Toothill says youths ride quad bikes on his land and damage crops and fences - but there have been more serious crimes in hotspot areas.

He believes farmers have a lack of support due to cuts in police resources.

The region's police and crime commissioner - Dr Alan Billings - has met with members of the National Farmers Union, and is urging them to report every incident.
