Rotherham pair face flytipping fines

Two Rotherham residents have been fined despite claiming they paid others to remove rubbish for them.

Brogan Greatbatch, of Parklands avenue, was traced from waste dumped at Firsby Lane and received a fine of 530 pounds.

Meanwhile, Mahmut Celik, of Montgomery Mews in Wath, was held responsible for rubbish found in Nether Haugh.

He was fined almost a thousand pounds for fly tipping.
