Community funding to help tackle violent crime in South Yorkshire

Money is been offered to projects across Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham to help reduce violent crime.

South Yorkshire Police have launched a new fund, which will see local groups receive up to 20 thousand pounds.

The cash will fund projects that will work with people at risk of getting involved in criminal activity.

It has been launched alongside a specialist new violent crime reduction facility.
